Project Engineer

Description of the Role:

  • To plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
  • Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project.
  • Assists Project Manager in the control, planning, scheduling, project execution, installation completion and final documentation.

Key Tasks:

  • To understand project scope, specification, deviation and commitment requirement.
  • Conduct site surveys with supplier, contractors & clients for installation works.
  • Coordinate with supplier, contractors & client for smooth delivery and timely completion of project.
  • Develop project schedule, execute and monitor the progress from project kick off till project completion.
  • Attend site meeting and involve in discussion with clients and consultants.
  • Work with different technical discipline internal or external vendors to meet technical requirements.
  • Prepare project document and report submission.
  • Maintain proper documentation.
  • Maintain good relationship with clients.
  • Carry out any ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Education

  • Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge / Experience / Others

  • At least 1 year of experience is required for this field.
  • Preferably with site experience in Industrial building or Government project.
  • Excellent project management and site coordination skills.
  • Must be pc literate (PPT, Word, Excel).
  • Possess valid driving license and prefer with own vehicle.

  • Able to perform multi-tasking
  • Independent, team player with good interpersonal skill.
